I rode it tonight starting from the Japanese School and it's wet, particularly along perimeter trail, there are lots of small shrubs down over the track too.

Long trail has lots of large muddy puddles that you have to ride through and it's pretty boggy most of the trail....it was much wetter than I expected it to be and my bike's drive train was screaming out for me to stop!

It's a fire trail so it's open but your bike and it's drive train will thank you if you dont ride it!

Do you have more information?

Did the same ride today. Track is reasonably firm except for the muddy patches and puddles. What wilso said is spot on: chain is pretty crunchy and full of sand. Will need a thorough clean. Sad

Lots of loose babyhead rocks on the steeper pinches. Makes climbing them an interesting challenge. Need to stay light and centred on the bike on the descents.

On the way out there this morning there was one maybe two road riders in the bike lane heading southbound on Forest Way taken out by a ute with trailer. It didn't look good. The rider I saw was still conscious I think but there were a lot of cars and police around and the ambos had him in a full body "cast".

Whoever you are I hope it's better than it looked.
