It's a mess with still a lot of water and some deep mud in places. Seems to have got torn up pretty badly over the weekend.
The new work on the section above MHL has started also, so that whole section from Nyrang Rd to MHL is closed. You have to ride around it on the road.
There's also another small detour around the new playground between the two bridges at Cootamundra.
Not sure why it's open really - think I'll be looking elsewhere for the next week or two.
Do you have more information?

Walked through the new stuff this morning while the trail crew were having morning tea. Looks like it will be a real improvement over the bog and timber steps of old.
There's some substantial rock armouring underway, and a flagstone descent, and the diversion away from the old bog section features some lovely natural rock features.
Roll on the evolution......
Is this work being done near the hydraulics lab ?
from the gate at the end of the reserve down to the hydro lab footpath.
