Manly Dam

Green/Open

Track is dry except for the creek crossings, and fast.

A tree fell down 'this evening some time on my second lap across the track just after the entrance to the Golf Club. No big deal - just don't zone out while you're reaching down for your drink bottle like I did. Sticking out tongue

Do you have more information?

It looks like some kids have put in a B line at the Hydraulics Lab rocks, cutting the corner and then crossing the stairs to end up on the lower end of the dutch ladder.

Seriously? WTF? Shocked

was shown in a video that I think may have even been posted on here a while back, ie 6 months or more. There was talk about where half of the tracks were, from memory there was lots of "off the official loop" riding but I distinctly remember he rode through the trees on the left of the last corner, straight across the top of the stairs and then onto the right hand side. It stuck out because I too thought why would you?

That's it.

Today I had a couple of experienced guys who really should know better riding the Trig Track the opposite way from the Parkway entrance. I had to unclip and the first guy clipped my bars. Sad

Good ride otherwise even though it was hot. Starting to set a few Strava PRs. Almost got below 40 minutes today. Flowing the bike through the S/T sections a lot better and I'm picking better lines through the rough descent from Cootamundra to Nyrang.

Tried lower pressures this week (20psi F/25psi R) as an 3xperiment and it seems to help make the bike feel more planted when cornering. Doesn't seem to squirm much at all - maybe the hookless rims support it better? Will keep it like this for awhile and keep an eye on how the bike behaves.
